INCF Travel Grants
INCF Travel Grants make resources available to researchers, primarily young scientists, engineers, and technologists, for study visits of relevance to neuroinformatics.
INCF Travel Grants are intended to benefit individuals with their current neuroinformatics work and ultimately neuroinformatics collaborations world-wide. The mechanism supports visits related to specific research collaborations and training. High priority will be given to submissions with relevance to INCF program sand to submissions that involve interactions with INCF Nodes. 
Instructions for applicants
- Programmers and developers, postgraduate students, doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, and academic staff involved in research and development, are eligible to apply.
- Awards may be sought for research visits to institutions or universities for the purpose of collaborative work, participation in specialized courses, and other training. The scheme does not support attendance at conferences.
- Expenses for low cost airfare and accommodation will be covered.
- Applications are accepted continuously.
- Applications are typically expected to be for visits of 1-3 weeks, with an absolute limit of 2 months.
- The INCF Secretariat expects a one page travel report within a week after completion of the trip. This report should contain a scientific part, stating the performed activities and achievements, and a financial part summarizing the costs. Full documentation of expenses (receipts etc) should also be included.
- Expenses are reimbursed, up to the agreed budget limit, following receipt of the full documentation. In certain cases it is possible to have the air fare and accommodation booked and paid in advance by the INCF Secretariat.
