INCF Workshops

INCF Workshops deal with selected problems, including technical issues of primary importance for neuroinformatics, or research topics coupled to databasing of neuroscience data, tools developments, or modeling of nervous system functions.

Each workshop has about 15 invited participants, selected on the basis of their expert skills in the particular area of the workshop. INCF National Nodes are allowed to send observers. Each workshop delivers a formal report on current activities and recommended actions. The analyses and recommendations provided represent the basis for actions to be initiated by the INCF, and the possible launching of an INCF program delivering products, services, standards, and guidelines.

  • 1st INCF Workshop on Node Communication and Collaborative Neuroinformatics
The interactions between the National Nodes and the Secretariat are vital for the development of the global INCF network. In addition, regular channels and routines for communication and contact among the National Nodes will facilitate activities in the network. The workshop will address issues related to interaction among the Nodes and coordination between the Nodes and the Secretariat.
